BAYCATION is our church weekend retreat to an activity hotel just up the road in Okehampton for loads of fun! It will be an incredible opportunity to gather back together after a season of two services, a chance to celebrate all God is doing and to grow together as a church through worship and teaching; as well as to eat well, play hard and forge incredible friendships.

The Program

We’ll be gathering Friday night, Saturday morning & evening in our own conference room for family fun and worship. Bringing the weekend to a close with Bay Church on Tour for our Sunday morning gathering!
We are planning a program for kids and youth this year, so for some gatherings they will be taken off for their own time together.
We will come together at meal times to eat together in the dining hall, enjoying self-service buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sandwiched in between all that, we’ll have free reign over the 70+ activities available to us. We’ll curate some central activities to help gravitate people to similar things, or you can rustle up shared interests over meal times to find people to sign up to activities with you.
Then kick back and chill into the evenings with a drink and chat in the bars or book a bowling lane and take the fun into the night!

There is really something for everyone at the Manor Resort. Vast sports and leisure facilities, family play areas, adventure golf and state-of-the-art hydro spa to name a few. It is also home to an extensive choice of craft workshops if you want to try your hand at pottery and so much more!

The Weekend and Day Tickets provide you access to all these activities within the cost of the ticket, with craft materials and spa treatments costing a little extra.

FAQs

Instalment Plans are only available until 26th September as part of our launch deal.

The last day to sign up with full price tickets is 30th November!!

If you’d like to sign up after the 30th November ‘24 please email us to check availability and we’ll get you in if we can!
We hope that the instalment plan will make this as accessible as possible, so snap that up quickly to spread the payments from October.

We've also offered 20% discounted tickets to reduce the price a little, which is also available over instalments.

The hotel is less than an hour away by car. For those without transport, we can either help find a car for you to jump in with, or we might put on a bus if there are enough people looking for help getting there.
The weekend ticket will get you full-board accommodation for two nights.

There are a limited number of family rooms that we can try to allocate with the majority of rooms being doubles or singles.
After you pay for those your are brining, you'll be sent a link to a second form to select the best room preferences to suite your parties needs - so be sure to look out for that email link and get your room details reserved quickly as it'll be a first-come, first-served basis.
Whilst it will be term time, your weekend ticket actually gets you access to the site from 10am. So just get up there as soon as is convenient, our program will start with dinner together and then our first gathering!

Rooms are available to check in from 3 pm on Friday and checkout will be before the Sunday gathering at 10am.
